I stayed up until 4am last night, and made it through 4 complete listens. The album is outstanding.

As a die hard This Is A Photograph fan (top 5 album for me in the last decade), Little Wide Open may in fact, be even better.

I love the way you tell stories, and share your life with an audience. Truly a gift, and we thank you.

Only two weeks away from seeing this material live in KC, and I cannot wait.

Thanks again Kevin. You brighten people’s day with your talent.

I live in KC and am going to be out of town when Kevin comes. Truly devastated! It’s gonna be a special show.

I hate when I’m out of town. KC gets skipped so often by tours, makes it tough.

I had the pleasure of listening to the album I was waiting for this morning. In my opinion, it is a milestone in your artistic journey. Both the lyrics and the music are very cohesive and tell a story that contains many small stories. Perhaps it is correct to say that the theme of the album is a place, a landscape, America. It is a very specific America of spaces mixed with memories and spirit. There is also great love in the album. You continue to deal with death, as in the song I love, Parade. It is very interesting. I found that there is more concern with God and Jesus. A song I especially liked: Natural Disaster.

This really captured so much of my sentiment for this album, and Natural Disaster was also a favorite for me. As I listened to the album I kept thinking “I can’t wait to get this on vinyl hear it coming out of my living room as I make and then sip on my coffee.”

Was lucky enough to see you last night in Denver! You never disappoint. Your music resonates with me like no other artist. The new album will be playing as we wind our way through the Rockies today.

The appearance from Lucinda Williams was a beautiful surprise and I made a connection I’m curious as to whether it’s true or not: was her album ‘West’ a reference point in the production? They’re both so patient and open and there’s a feeling of space that comes with that.

I literally played your album on repeat all day at the office - 8 hours of LWO. Coworkers would come in and be transformed, made lighter, hearing the music. It certainly lifted my own mood. So so happy for you Kevin and for all your fans who get to enjoy this incredibly personal and purposeful album.

Side note: I too hung out with Lucinda in that same bar in Mexico - most likely the same night I met you. She was gracious and so very interesting to talk to. ♥️ to Lu

So sad that I can‘t be at the Zurich show in June…but maybe you‘ll return again not so far from now?! Would love to see another show!

Just wanted to say that I can't stop listening to the new album. Thank you for making something so sublime and beautifully complex. I got teary eyed listening in the car to Lucinda's god honest voice working over the lines in Natural disaster. Then that guitar. It really is something very special, and I can't wait to see it live when you come back to Australia in November.

I sincerely appreciate the courage you find to open yourself up creatively, to live in the uncertain realm of making and to stay true to your intuition. Your art makes the world a substantially better place to be in, and inspires us all to find courage in our own ways.

Hey Kev Mo,

Thanks for making such a killer optimistic sounding album. Deconstruct that how you will but that’s the vibe it’s given me. And in these crazy assed times that’s a great gift. See you again in Sydney. Have a great tour in the meantime 🤘

The album sounds like the taste of summer corn picked fresh from my grandpa’s farm drenched in butter while I nurse a midwestern summer pool day sunburn. Absolutely gorgeous in every sense of the word. Cannot believe you harbor this many masterpieces inside of that brilliant mind!!! A true KC Royal

it’s beautiful, very in the current of this moment. i was listening while driving back and forth to working the art fair on strawberry hill up and down 70 through construction and detours in the bottoms and it was so hot and dusty and gross and the songs really perfectly soundtracked the gorgeous devastation of our nasty little midwest metropolis ❤️‍🔥 love you kevin !
